Our Company
Traditional Chinese Medicine has been in practice for thousands of years, offering herbal cures that are based on a holistic understanding of the human body and its environment. This centuries-old herbal tradition harvests the gifts of the earth for the sake of healing and well-being. In 1998, three practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine decided to establish Kamedis Laboratories, and their mission was creating a research-supported line of skin treatments that use the herbal cures offered by traditional Chinese medicine. Teaming with expert scientists for the extraction and manufacturing processes led Kamedis to the unique combination of disciplines and expertise, which backs its current product range and its pipeline.
Today at Kamedis we offer tried-and-tested solutions for common skin conditions, from skin sensitivity, allergy reactions and skin prone to atopic dermatitis, to acne-prone skin, seborrhea-prone skin and psoriasis-related effects. All products are safe for daily use by adults, children and infants.
Our pipeline includes additional solutions for specific clients’ needs, as well as products certified with the highest criteria of clinical and environmental approvals.
Our Formulations
The special formulations of traditional herb extractions used in Kamedis’ products represent the outstanding results that can be achieved when combining the powers of separate extracts into an amalgam of benefits.
In each of the formulations, a leading herbal extract determines the main effect of the product. Alongside with that, supporting extracts strengthen the effect of that leader, while others prevent undesired side-effects. A complementary extract is then added to each formulation in order to ensure its stabilization as a whole.
This method of formulation is based both on centuries of experience and research in traditional Chinese medicine, as well as clinical trials and data achieved through scientific measurement and patient follow-up.
Our ingredients
Kamedis’ herbal ingredients are carefully extracted using advanced technology that takes advantage of macro porous resins which effectively absorb, enrich, and purify the active ingredients in herb extracts. This procedure removes organic salts, heavy metals, and a large quantity of starch, and also improves the stabilities and shelf-life of the extracts. This unique method enriches the extract and strengthens its active ingredients, resulting in enhanced biological activity.
All Kamedis product lines maintain the traditional "support principle" of Chinese Medicine; their herbal formulations recreate the balance and harmony that are so important to the rehabilitation and healing processes of the skin.
The plants used in Kamedis’ product lines are specially grown for our laboratories, under meticulous growing conditions and stringent quality control procedures. Each formulation is tested over several years until the best combinations and dosages are determined.
